1. Introduction & company information
Welcome to Clippper AI ("Clippper," "we," "us," or "our"). Clippper is operated by Clippper AI, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (Kamer van Koophandel) under number 98839586, VAT identification number NL005356958B40, located in The Netherlands.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Clippper platform, websites (including clippper.ai), applications, and related products and features (collectively, the "Services"). Please read these Terms carefully before using the Services.
By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and any additional terms referenced here (together, this "Agreement"). If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
For questions, contact us at info@clippper.ai.
2. Description of the Services
Clippper helps you turn Twitch clips and other supported stream or video links into vertical-style clips for short-form platforms. You submit links or choose content through integrations we support. We process video and audio using automated and AI-assisted systems to produce layouts, captions, hooks, timing, and export files. Features, resolution, credits, and queue priority depend on your plan.
The Services include, for example:
- Ingesting content from URLs you provide (such as Twitch clips or other supported links)
- AI-assisted transcription and analysis of audio and related signals
- Detection and selection of segments and editorial layout for vertical (9:16) output
- Captions, subtitles, hook text, and metadata suggestions
- Export of rendered clips
- Optional publishing to connected accounts (for example YouTube) when you enable that integration
We may change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Services where we have a valid reason and will give notice when the law or practicality requires it.
3. Who may use the Services
Age requirements
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Services. If you are under 16, you may use the Services only with verifiable consent and supervision of a parent or guardian who agrees to this Agreement. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16 without appropriate consent.
Business users
If you use the Services on behalf of a company or other entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity, and "you" includes that entity.
4. Account registration & security
You may need an account to use certain features. You may register with email (including one-time codes), Google, Twitch, or other methods we offer. You agree to provide accurate information, protect your credentials, notify us of unauthorized use, and accept responsibility for activity under your account. We may suspend accounts we reasonably believe are compromised.
5. AI processing & third-party AI services
The Services rely on AI and machine learning, including third-party providers. By using the Services, you acknowledge that:
5.1 How AI is used
- Transcription: Audio may be processed by Deepgram (or comparable providers) to produce transcripts and timing.
- Language and planning: Text and metadata may be processed by OpenAI (or comparable providers) for editorial suggestions, hooks, and related outputs.
- Vision and rendering: Automated analysis and rendering pipelines may process frames and signals to produce vertical layouts and motion.
5.2 Data sent to AI providers
Portions of your content (such as audio, transcripts, and metadata) may be transmitted to third-party AI providers solely to deliver functionality. Those providers process data under agreements with us and their own policies.
5.3 No training on your content by us
Clippper does not use your content to train our own AI or machine learning models. Your materials are used to provide the Services to you. Third-party API providers operate under terms that restrict use of customer data for model training as described in their documentation.
5.4 AI output accuracy
AI-generated outputs may be wrong, incomplete, or unsuitable. You are responsible for reviewing outputs before publishing. Clippper does not guarantee accuracy or fitness for any particular purpose.
6. Your content & intellectual property
6.1 Your ownership
You retain ownership of content you lawfully provide ("User Content"). Clippper does not claim ownership of your User Content.
6.2 Outputs
Subject to this Agreement and underlying rights in your source material, you may use exports you lawfully generate for your own purposes, consistent with platform rules and applicable law.
6.3 License to Clippper
You grant Clippper a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, copy, process, transcode, and transmit User Content only as needed to operate and improve the Services as described in our Privacy Policy. This license ends when you delete relevant content or your account, subject to backup and legal retention periods.
6.4 Your responsibilities
You are solely responsible for all content you submit and for exports you publish. Clippper processes content on your behalf and does not pre-approve User Content.
By submitting content, you represent and warrant that:
- You have the rights and permissions needed to use the content with the Services
- The content does not infringe intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights of third parties
- You have obtained consents required for people identifiable in the content, where applicable (including AI-assisted processing and redistribution)
- The content complies with applicable laws and platform terms (for example Twitch, YouTube, Kick)
Clippper is not responsible for User Content. We may remove content or suspend accounts if we receive valid complaints or legal notices, as described below.
7. Subscriptions, credits & billing
7.1 Plans & credits
The Services are offered under plans with limits on features, resolution, credits, and queue priority. Credits are consumed as described in-product (for example approximately one credit per minute of source video processed unless we say otherwise).
7.2 Billing & auto-renewal
Paid plans are billed through Stripe. Subscriptions may auto-renew unless cancelled before renewal. Prices may change with reasonable notice.
7.3 Free plan
Free-plan exports may include a Clippper watermark and be limited in resolution and features as described on our pricing page. Paid plans may remove or reduce those limits.
7.4 Cancellation & refunds
You may cancel renewal in the app. You typically retain paid features until the end of the current billing period. Unused credits may not roll over or be refundable except where required by law.
If you are a consumer in the EU, you may have a 14-day withdrawal right for distance contracts; by using the Services to process content during that period, you acknowledge that the digital service may be fully performed and that statutory exceptions may apply.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Violate law or others' rights
- Upload or process illegal, harmful, harassing, or exploitative content (including content involving minors in violation of law)
- Reverse engineer or circumvent security or usage limits except where prohibited by applicable law
- Scrape or overload the Services outside documented interfaces, or misuse the Services to train competing models on our infrastructure without permission
- Interfere with the Services or access others' accounts without authorization
- Use outputs to deceive viewers where law or platform rules require disclosure
We may suspend or terminate access for violations, with or without notice depending on severity.
9. Third-party platform integrations
If you connect third-party accounts (for example YouTube for uploads), you authorize us to act on your behalf as permitted by that connection. You remain responsible for each platform's terms and community rules. We are not responsible for actions those platforms take. You may disconnect integrations in the app where supported.
10. API access
If we make a developer API or similar programmatic access available, additional terms may apply. API credentials must be kept confidential; you must not abuse rate limits, resell access without permission, or use the API in a way that harms the Services or other users.
11. Copyright & DMCA policy
Clippper respects intellectual property rights. If you believe content infringes your copyright, contact our copyright agent:

Your notice should include the information required by applicable law, including:

We may terminate repeat infringers where appropriate.
12. Account termination & data deletion
12.1 Termination by you
You may delete your account using in-app controls or by contacting us. We remove data from active systems within a reasonable period; backups may persist for a limited time as described in our Privacy Policy.
12.2 Termination by Clippper
We may suspend or terminate your account for breach of this Agreement, risk to the Services or users, fraud, or legal requirement. We will provide notice where reasonable unless immediate action is needed.
12.3 Effect
On termination, your right to use the Services stops. Provisions that should survive (including IP, disclaimers, liability limits, and governing law) remain in effect.
13. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Clippper and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Services, your User Content, or your breach of this Agreement or third-party rights.
14. Warranty disclaimer
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
CLIPPPER DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT AI OUTPUTS WILL BE ACCURATE OR SUITABLE FOR ANY PURPOSE.
15. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, CLIPPPER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES.
CLIPPPER'S TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THIS AGREEMENT SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (I) ONE HUNDRED EUROS (€100) OR (II) THE AMOUNTS PAID BY YOU TO CLIPPPER IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
NOTHING IN THIS AGREEMENT EXCLUDES OR LIMITS LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE EXCLUDED OR LIMITED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW, INCLUDING LIABILITY FOR DEATH OR PERSONAL INJURY CAUSED BY NEGLIGENCE WHERE APPLICABLE, OR MANDATORY EU CONSUMER PROTECTION RIGHTS.
16. Governing law & dispute resolution
This Agreement is governed by the laws of The Netherlands, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except that mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence may still apply to you. Disputes shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of The Netherlands, subject to mandatory rules otherwise applicable to consumers.
EU consumers may use the European Commission's ODR platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
17. Changes to these Terms
We may modify these Terms. For material changes, we will provide notice (for example by email or an in-app notice) when required. Continued use after the effective date may constitute acceptance. If you do not agree, stop using the Services and delete your account.
18. General provisions
- Entire agreement: This Agreement is the entire agreement between you and Clippper regarding the Services and supersedes prior agreements on the subject.
- Severability: If a provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
- No waiver: Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
- Assignment: You may not assign this Agreement without our consent; we may assign ours as part of a business transfer.
- Force majeure: We are not liable for delays or failures due to events outside our reasonable control.
